I met Filippo Dattola here in Medellin about 8 months ago when he was half way through his year-long Alaska to Argentina (top-to-bottom) tour. From Italy he took the risk that most only daydream about; he sold everything, quit his job, and set off on the mother of all road trips – both Americas from head to toe.

What impressed me the most about Filippo was his mastery of getting free press for his journey. Namely the BBC, El Tiempo here in Colombia…and now The Arepa, wow!
